The South Adams Starfires basketball team (Berne, IN), was nudged 45-42 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN)

The Golden Bears now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frankton for a non-league battle on Friday, December 23. Monroe Central will battle a Eagles team coming off a 66-37 non-league loss to Wapahani (Selma, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

The Starfires (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Bellmont (Decatur, IN). The Braves come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record.
