North Zulch Bulldogs (North Zulch, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Normangee Panthers (Normangee, TX), 46-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Zulch upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Round Top-Carmine (Carmine, TX) to play the Cubs in a 1A Region IV District 29 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Cubs come into the bout with a record of 4-7. Round Top-Carmine won 60-54 in their recent league bout against Richards (Richards, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Rosebud-Lott Cougars (Rosebud, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Normangee will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 40-38 non-league win over Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX).
