The Roosevelt Roughriders basketball team scored 32 points and held the host Platte Valley Broncos to 30 in the Roughriders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Roughriders now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frederick for a contest on Friday, January 6. Roosevelt will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 63-61 non-league loss to Erie (Erie, CO). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-2.

The Broncos (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eaton (Eaton, CO). The Reds enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Eaton nudged Skyview (Thornton, CO), 60-35, in a non-league contest.
