Georgia High School Basketball - Atkinson County overwhelmed by South Effingham

The Atkinson County Rebels basketball team (Pearson, GA), was overwhelmed 64-7 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA)

The Mustangs now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glynn Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 21. South Effingham will battle a Terrors team coming off a 66-21 non-league win over Groves (Garden City, GA). The Terrors record now stands at 2-7.

The Rebels (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Citizens Christian Academy (Douglas, GA). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Citizens Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA), 75-27, in a non-league battle.
