The Sacopee Valley Hawks basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Buckfield Bucks to 21 in the Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Islesboro Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Sacopee Valley will meet a Eagles team coming off a 66-31 league loss to Valley (Bingham, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Buckfield moves to 1-5 on the year. The Bucks travel to Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME) to meet the Wolverines in a C South match on Thursday, December 22. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 0-0.
