Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX), 62-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hardin-Jefferson upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Sachse (Sachse, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Sachse won 64-24 in their recent league bout against South Garland (Garland, TX)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Huntsville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 17-1 record after their 98-61 non-league win over Fairview (Grant, LA).
