West Virginia High School Basketball - WestSide topped by Hoover

The Hoover Huskies basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting WestSide Renegades to 34 in the Huskies non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewis County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Hoover will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 56-42 non-league win over Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Minutemen record now stands at 5-0.

The Renegades (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV). The Bees come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, East Fairmont was defeated by North Marion (Farmington, WV), 64-51, in a league contest.
