Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 48-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spring Creek upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Gators travel to Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Neuse Charter lost 40-36 in their recent non-league bout against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Hobbton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 66-32 league loss to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC).
