The Paramus Spartans basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Indian Hills Braves to 17 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pascack Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Paramus will battle a Panthers team coming off a 50-28 non-league win over Academy of the Holy Angels (Demarest, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.
The Braves (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Wood-Ridge triumphed over St. Mary (Rutherford, NJ), 50-8, in a league contest.
