New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT), 47-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Fairfield upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Rebels host Coventry (Coventry, CT) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Coventry won 45-25 in their recent non-league bout against Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT)

Next up, the Falcons play the Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Joel Barlow will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 48-38 league win over Gilbert (Winsted, CT).
