With the victory, Maroa-Forsyth upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Tri-City (Buffalo, IL) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Ponies play the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers (Greenfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. South Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 30-19 non-league win over Roxana (Roxana, IL).
