In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Shawnee Golden Eagles (Louisville, KY) basketball squad beat the visiting Moore Mustangs (Louisville, KY), by a count of 40-21.

With the victory, Shawnee upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Western (Louisville, KY) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Western lost 43-32 in their recent non-league bout against Seneca (Louisville, KY)

Next up, the Mustangs play the North Bullitt Eagles (Shepherdsville, KY) in a District 23 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Moore will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
