The Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) basketball knocked off the host Priceville Bulldogs (Priceville, AL), 71-62 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Gulfport (Gulfport, MS). The Admirals go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Gulfport went down by Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL), 61-38, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Brewer for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3. Priceville will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Danville (Danville, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 4-9.
