The Shaker Bison basketball team (Latham, NY), was nudged 36-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY)

The Silver Warriors now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia for a Section 2 Suburban battle on Thursday, December 22. Niskayuna will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 52-38 league win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-4.

The Bison (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Our Lady of Lourdes edged Saugerties (Saugerties, NY), 60-43, in a non-league battle.
