New Mexico High School Basketball - Del Norte overwhelmed by La Cueva

The La Cueva Bears basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host Del Norte Knights to 48 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Volcano Vista for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. La Cueva will battle a Hawks team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 4-2.
The Knights (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dulce (Dulce, NM). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Dulce was routed by Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM), 64-20, in a non-league contest.
