High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Morehead Panthers (Eden, NC), 64-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, High Point Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars host Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, December 26. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the Panthers clash with the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Morehead will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 7-2 record after their 49-38 non-league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC).
