In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Northfield Norsemen basketball team scored a good 49-40 triumph over the Argos Dragons.
In their next game, the Norsemen meet the Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 22. Northfield will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Comets enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 70-63 non-league win over Cowan (Muncie, IN).
With the defeat, Argos moves to 2-4 on the year. The Dragons travel to Trinity (South Bend, IN) to meet the Titans in a Hoosier Plains match on Tuesday, January 2. The Titans enter the match with a record of 1-5.
