Connecticut High School Basketball - Cheney RVT edges Sports & Medical Sciences Academy

The Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT) basketball nipped the visiting Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers (Hartford, CT), 60-58 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Beavers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Prince RVT (Hartford, CT). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Prince RVT was nudged by Grasso Tech (Groton, CT), 66-54, in a non-league contest.
