In Wednesday's league outing, the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI), by a margin of 67-46.

The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies go into the Division 2 outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Mt. Hope was trounced by Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 62-42, in a league outing.

The Oakers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Exeter-West Greenwich for a non-league outing on Friday, December 22. Coventry will clash with a Scarlet Knights squad coming off a 62-41 league win over Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI). The Scarlet Knights record now stands at 1-4.
