Tennessee High School Basketball - Sipsey Valley can't hold off DeKalb County

The DeKalb County Tigers basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Sipsey Valley Bears to 42 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madisonville-North Hopkins for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20.
The Bears (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Franklin, TN). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Centennial was nudged by Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL), 56-47, in a non-league contest.
