Duchesne Pioneers (St. Charles, MO) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Elsberry Indians (Elsberry, MO), 39-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Duchesne upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Fort Zumwalt North (O'Fallon, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Fort Zumwalt North lost 67-43 in their recent non-league bout against St. Charles (St. Charles, MO)

Next up, the Indians play the New Haven Shamrocks (New Haven, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Elsberry will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Shamrocks come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 58-27 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, MO).
