Gateway Panthers (Kissimmee, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Father Lopez Green Wave (Daytona Beach, FL), 59-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gateway upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Flagler Palm Coast (Palm Coast, FL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Flagler Palm Coast won 57-52 in their recent non-league bout against Atlantic (Port Orange, FL)

Next up, the Green Wave clash with the Episcopal School of Jacksonville Eagles (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Father Lopez will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 53-37 non-league win over Fletcher (Neptune Beach, FL).
