Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Franklin County Rebels (Winchester, TN), 54-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sparkman upgrades its record to 4-11 on the season. The Senators travel to Bearden (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Bearden won 70-46 in their recent non-league bout against Centennial (Roswell, GA)

Next up, the Rebels clash with the Knowledge Academies (Antioch, TN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Franklin County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 76-42 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, TN).
