The Genesee Christian Soldiers basketball team (Burton, MI), was nudged 60-53 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Kearsley Hornets (Flint, MI)
The Hornets now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walled Lake Central for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 21. Kearsley will battle a Vikings team coming off a 56-45 non-league win over Lake Fenton (Linden, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 6-1.
The Soldiers (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI). The come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Everest Collegiate edged Brandon (Ortonville, MI), 56-28, in a non-league battle.
