The Mt. Zion Braves basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Glenwood Titans to 61 in the Braves non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Braves now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taylorville for a Apollo contest on Wednesday, December 27. Mt. Zion will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 54-37 league loss to Charleston (Charleston, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 0-9.
The Titans (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, O'Fallon was defeated by Metamora (Metamora, IL), 59-58, in a non-league contest.
