Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA), 56-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jennings upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Midland (Midland, LA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 11-7. Midland won 81-63 in their recent non-league bout against Fairview (Grant, LA)

Next up, the Vikings play the St. Martinville Tigers (St. Martinville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 48-39 non-league win over Cecilia (Cecilia, LA).
