Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL), 57-20 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lake Zurich upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 23. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 2-9. Prairie Ridge won 63-53 in their recent non-league bout against Larkin (Elgin, IL)

Next up, the Eagles play the Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record.
