In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Loretto Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 69-48 triumph over the Pearl-Cohn Firebirds.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Farragut Admirals (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 21. Loretto will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Admirals enter the match with a 3-10 record after their 78-71 non-league loss to Rockvale (Rockvale, TN).

With the defeat, Pearl-Cohn moves to 2-4 on the year. The Firebirds travel to Mount Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN) to meet the Golden Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, December 21. The Golden Bears enter the match with a record of 2-8.
