Owensboro Catholic Aces (Owensboro, KY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting West Creek Coyote (Clarksville, TN), 66-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Aces travel to Moore (Louisville, KY) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Moore lost 98-93 in their recent non-league bout against Bryan Station (Lexington, KY)

Next up, the Coyote play the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. West Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Maroons go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 81-77 non-league win over Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY).
