In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Carmichaels Mighty Mikes (Carmichaels, PA), by a margin of 53-20.

The Rangers (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Carlynton (Carnegie, PA). The Cougars go into the WPIAL 2A 2 outing with a 3-5 record.

The Mighty Mikes now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host McGuffey for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 21. Carmichaels will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 65-55 non-league win over Rochester (Rochester, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-0.
