The Chippewa Chipps basketball team (Doylestown, OH), was overwhelmed 70-29 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH)
The Fighting Irish now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lutheran East for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 23. St. Vincent-St. Mary will battle a Falcons team coming off a 68-42 non-league win over Hathaway Brown (Shaker Heights, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 4-3.
The Chipps (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Rittman (Rittman, OH). The Indians come into the Wayne County battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Rittman was overwhelmed by Orrville (Orrville, OH), 48-26, in a non-league battle.
