Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO) and the host Stargate School Eagles (Thornton, CO), saw Dawson School's basketball squad overcome Stargate School by a tally of 31-20.

With the victory, Dawson School improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Bishop Machebeuf (Denver, CO) to confront the Buffaloes in a 3A/2A/1A Mile High challenge on Friday, January 12. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Forge Christian Fury (Arvada, CO) in a 4A/3A Metropolitan challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Stargate School will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Fury come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 59-22 non-league loss to Severance (Severance, CO).
