In their next game, the Tigers face the Union City Bears (Union City, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 game, on Thursday, January 4. Maplewood will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record.

With the defeat, Girard moves to 0-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Cochranton (Cochranton, PA) to face the Cardinals in a non-league game on Saturday, December 23. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 3-4. Cochranton lost 48-36 in their recent non-league game against Franklin (Franklin, PA)
