Virginia High School Basketball - High Point Christian Academy trounces West Springfield

The High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC) basketball crushed the host West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), 52-25 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (10-0) will now prepare for their test against Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Bishop O'Connell walloped Summerville (Summerville, SC), 58-50, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Braddock for a District 4 test on Tuesday, January 2. West Springfield will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 63-26 league loss to Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 1-7.
