West Virginia High School Basketball - Oak Hill knocked off by Hurricane

December 20, 2023: Hurricane, WV 25526

The Hurricane Redskins basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Oak Hill Red Devils to 45 in the Redskins non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Redskins now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grafton for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Hurricane will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 71-33 league win over Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-3.

The Red Devils (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Capital (Charleston, WV). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Capital was defeated by John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV), 85-29, in a non-league contest.
