The Marist RedHawks basketball team (Chicago, IL), was nudged 49-44 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL)
The Vikings now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Ignatius College Prep for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 26. St. Laurence will battle a Wolfpack team coming off a 61-56 non-league win over Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Wolfpack record now stands at 5-5.
The RedHawks (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Spartans come into the East Suburban Catholic battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Marian Catholic was nudged by Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 47-44, in a league battle.
