The Oakdale Mustangs (Oakdale, CA) basketball nipped the host Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA), 33-29 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Tracy (Tracy, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record.
The Cougars now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Merced for a test on Tuesday, January 2.
