The Sparrows Point Pointers (Baltimore, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Patapsco Patriots (Baltimore, MD), 50-25 in Wednesday's league test.
The Pointers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Chesapeake (Baltimore, MD). The Bay Hawks go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Chesapeake was trounced by Woodlawn (Baltimore, MD), 39-30, in a league test.
The Patriots now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastern Tech for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 3. Patapsco will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 56-3 non-league win over Carver A&T (Towson, MD). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-0.
