Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA) and the visiting Woodland Wolves (Woodland, CA), saw East Nicolaus's basketball squad overcome Woodland by a tally of 49-36.

With the victory, East Nicolaus improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. West Valley lost 60-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Shasta (Redding, CA)

Next up, the Wolves confront the Mesa Verde Mavericks (Citrus Heights, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Woodland will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record.
