California High School Basketball - St. Francis can't hold off La Canada

The La Canada Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and held the host St. Francis Golden Knights to 57 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flintridge Prep for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. La Canada will battle a Wolves team coming off a 35-28 non-league win over Arleta (Arleta, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-2.

The Golden Knights (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Grant was nudged by Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA), 71-57, in a non-league contest.
