The Ballard Bruins basketball squad (Louisville, KY), was nudged 65-64 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Aiken Falcons (Cincinnati, OH)
With the victory, Aiken advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Falcons travel to Dunbar (Dayton, OH) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 2. The Wolverines enter the battle with a record of 4-3.
The Bruins now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covington Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 21. Ballard will meet a Colonels squad coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 4-1.
