The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Royalton Royals (Royalton, MN) and the visiting Aitkin Gobblers (Aitkin, MN), observed Royalton's basketball team overwhelm Aitkin by a margin of 73-52.

The Royals (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (Grove City, MN). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City was trounced by Paynesville (Paynesville, MN), 85-66, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Gobblers battle the Foley Falcons (Foley, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. Aitkin will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 53-49 league loss to St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN).
