The Bennett County Warriors beat the visiting Gordon-Rushville Mustangs basketball team by a margin of 43-34 in Friday's non-league game.

The Warriors now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lyman for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Bennett County will confront a Raiders team coming off a 53-43 non-league loss to Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Gordon-Rushville falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Kimball (Kimball, NE) to confront the Longhorns in a C2 District 12 game on Saturday, December 21. The Longhorns go into the game with a record of 5-1. Kimball won 67-50 in their recent non-league game against Hershey (Hershey, NE)
