The Bishop Watterson Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Fairfield Union Falcons to 44 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to New Lexington for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Bishop Watterson will confront a Panthers team coming off a 65-63 league loss to Sheridan (Thornville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Fairfield Union falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Logan Elm (Circleville, OH) to confront the Braves in a Mid-State - Buckeye game on Monday, December 23. The Braves go into the game with a record of 1-7. Logan Elm lost 46-43 in their recent league game against Amanda-Clearcreek (Amanda, OH)
