La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), 69-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, La Plata upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Bowie (Bowie, MD) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 5-0. Bowie won 54-51 in their recent non-league match against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD)

The Falcons now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairmont Heights for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A match on Tuesday, January 7.
