California High School Basketball - Chino can't hold off Spanish Fork

Spanish Fork Dons (Spanish Fork, UT) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Chino Cowboys (Chino, CA), 71-68 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Spanish Fork upgrades its record to 4-6 on the year. The Dons travel to Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 4-3. Cimarron-Memorial lost 56-45 in their recent non-league match against Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO)

The Cowboys now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palo Verde for a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. Chino will face a Panthers squad coming off a 62-57 non-league loss to Payson (Payson, UT). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.
