California High School Basketball - Foothills Christian nips Coronado

December 20, 2024: El Cajon, CA 92020

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Foothills Christian Knights basketball team scored a close 51-50 triumph over the Coronado Islanders.

The Knights (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Clairemont (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains go into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Clairemont nipped Valley Center (Valley Center, CA), 84-58, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Islanders battle the Mission Hills Grizzlies (San Marcos, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 26. Coronado will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a 6-6 record after their 67-59 non-league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA).
