In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Dawson Springs Panthers basketball team scored a close 72-69 triumph over the Varsity Opponent .
The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against McLean County (Calhoun, KY). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, McLean County nipped Ohio County (Hartford, KY), 52-30, in a league contest.
