The Sterling Heights Stallions basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Eastpointe Shamrocks to 56 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Stallions now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Clintondale for a Macomb Area - Bronze game on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Eastpointe falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Shamrocks travel to Ecorse (Ecorse, MI) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Sunday, December 22. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 2-3. Ecorse lost 49-43 in their recent non-league game against University Prep Science & Math (Detroit, MI)
