The Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Mountain View Christian Academy Conquerors to 49 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pioneers now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wakefield Country Day for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23.

With the loss, Mountain View Christian Academy falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Conquerors host Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA) to confront the Bears in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Bears go into the game with a record of 2-7. Blue Ridge Christian lost 47-36 in their recent league game against Ridgeview Christian (Stuarts Draft, VA)
